Flight to the East & Arrival

We pick you up early for a 1-hour flight to Dire Dawa. Upon arrival, a private transfer takes us on the scenic 1.5-hour drive up the mountains to Harar. After checking into the hotel, we meet our expert local guide to begin exploring the ancient walled city (Jugol).

Mosques, Markets, and Hyenas

A full day to discover the magic of Harar. We explore the colorful markets, ancient mosques, and shrines that make this town a living museum. In the evening, we visit the famous Hyena Man to watch him feed wild hyenas by hand—a daring tradition you can try yourself if you are brave enough!

Return to Addis Ababa

After breakfast, we take the transfer back to Dire Dawa airport for the return flight to Addis Ababa. Upon arrival in the afternoon, our driver will be waiting to bring you back to your hotel.
